Boylston, MA
Cost: Non-members $75, Members $68

Italy has a rich and ancient history that has touched or influenced
most civilizations on the globe. Beginning with the earliest
settlements of the Etruscans, moving through the time of the Romans,
and into the Age of Enlightenment and the Renaissance, Italy was a key
shaper of modern day Europe. As one of the most powerful nations in the
world, Italy has bestowed many gifts upon the world, not the least of
which is the gift of wine. In this class we will take a trip through
Italian history, linking each major milestone to wines of particular
meaning or significance. Ten wines will help tell the story of Italy's
storied past, including reds, whites, sparklers and sweet dessert wines
- a selection as significant as the country herself!
