More than a dozen outstanding German wines paired with a multi-course feast by a master chef: The San Francisco chapter of the German Wine Society presents is accaimed annual wine dinner.
German Rieslings are widely considered to be the world’s most food-friendly wines. Connoisseurs and newcomers alike will appreciate this opportunity to experience some of the best from such premium producers as Maximin Grünhäuser, Fritz Haag, and Dr. Loosen. Over a dozen different wines will be served ranging from a dry Sekt to a luscious Beerenauslese as well as the remarkable German Pinot Noir (Spätburgunder) by celebrated winemaker Robert König. The gourmands will appreciate the tastefully paired courses of chef and restaurateur Nunzio Alioto, himself a long time German wine authority and enthusiast.
The event will take place in the intimate upstairs private dining room of Alioto’s Restaurant at Fisherman’s Wharf with a fine view over the moored fishing fleet out towards the Golden Gate Bridge. The location is easily accessible by public transportation and convenient parking is nearby and validated.

Price: In the spirit of the times, the event is being offered at a very attractive price: $100 for members and first time guests, $125 for others. Each member may also bring one guest at the members’ price.
