June 17, 2009. Fort Lauderdale, FL – The Mai-Kai and Standing Room Only Productions have teamed up to produce a fun murder mystery dinner event on Friday, July 24, 2009.

Standing Room Only Productions, by Cathy Rollins, produces a variety of murder mystery themed dinner shows, entertainers, and specialty acts. Solving a crime is worth more than a hill of beans! This could be the beginning of beautiful friendships, and the end of a fabulous Mai-Kai mystery.

Following major renovations, and a several million dollar facelift, the Mai-Kai is celebrating 52 years in business with a ‘new beginning’. Although the traditional dinner and newly choreographed Polynesian Revue are still the staple of the business, Mai-Kai offers so much more…Molokai Bar & Poop Deck for their famous cocktails and sumptuous appetizers, the Show Room, the private Tahiti and Samoa dining rooms for dining, and the beautiful Lanai Gardens where guests can stroll past the waterfall, drink cocktails by the pools, or have dinner by torchlight amongst the palms.
