“Behind every bottle there’s a story; of love, of war, of history, magic, or legend.” It’s the month of Bastille Day, and all minds turn to European Wines. To celebrate we’re putting on a class all about the “tannic tales and lively lore” from the long and illustrious history of European Wines. Join “Miss Jane” Nickles, Wine Educator at the Texas Culinary Academy , as we learn about the “evil, disloyal grape” banished form the Kingdom of Burgundy , the amazing story of “Est! Est!! Est!!!”, true tales of “Champagne Charlie”, the legend of the Gallo Nero of Chianti Classico, and more! In this class, woven through some beloved, historical “tales of the vine” – and some delicious tasting - you’ll learn all about some of the most interesting wines in history!
