Taste over 150 Rhone-style wines from 40 American winemakers at the Rhone Rangers Los Angeles area wine tasting on Sunday, August 9.  Pier 59 Studios West, a private and exclusive digital arts and photography studio not far from the Santa Monica Beach, will host this event, where you can get to taste these beautiful wines from California, Washington, Oregon and Idaho.  This tasting includes Viognier, several white blends and dry rosés, Syrah & Shiraz, Petite Sirah, Mourvedre, and a variety of red blends. Come find out why Rhone-style wines are so revered in France, and gaining in popularity here in the States.  Credentialed media and trade are invited to the trade tasting, 12 noon - 2 PM, and consumers may purchase tickets:  $35, 2-5 PM General Admission, $65, 12 noon - 5 PM, VIP Tickets.  Just 50 VIP tickets are available, to insure that there is plenty of time to meet and speak with the winemakers.
