Local Wine Events

Stop by between 3:00 and 6:00 PM this Saturday for a delightful afternoon of wine tasting, music, and massages.  Marcey from Republic National Distributing will be here with the full line of Joel Gott Wines for you to try.  The Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Sauvignon Blanc have been customer favorites here for several months, and this weekend we’re adding the Chardonnay and Riesling to the line-up for you to sip while enjoying the live vocals and guitar of DeAnna Wendolyn.  Wine tasting is complimentary.  Registered Massage Therapist, Donna Leif will also be here for chair massages in the privacy of the Tasting Room for only $1 per minute.  To reserve your timeslot, call us at 817-361-9999. 
These are the wines we’ll be tasting:

2008 Sauvignon Blanc, Monterey/Napa/Lake Counties, California  
A brilliant, vibrant Sauvignon Blanc due to the cool growing season which produced intensely aromatic sauvignon blancs with great varietal expression. The finish is bright and crisp. There are hints of herbal, melon, and citrus aromas, followed by tropical fruit, grapefruit and mineral flavors.

2008 Riesling, Columbia Valley, Washington
An off-dry Riesling with aromas and flavors of citrus blossom, orange peel, white pepper, star fruit, and honeycomb.

2007 Chardonnay, Monterey, California
Unoaked Chardonnay with aromas of orange blossom, white peach and jasmine with a bright acid structure.

2007 Zinfandel, Lodi & Amador, California 
Dry farmed old vines produce intensity and structure while packing it full of flavors like licorice, plums and Bing cherries.

2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley/Mendocino Coast/Paso Robles/Lake County, California  $17.88
