Wine OR Wine & Food

Stop by this Tuesday evening between 5:00 and 8:00 and taste five chardonnay-based wines, each with its own personality and style:

2007 The Spanish Quarter Chardonnay-Albarino; Cataluna, Spain  $10.99
A rich and luscious palate of ripe peach, tropical fruit and a long, citrus finish. Pair with seafood, or chicken and rice dishes.

2007 Estampa Viognier-Chardonnay; Colchagua Valley, Chile  $9.49
Delicate golden hue with a soft touch of green.  The Viognier contributes notes of ripe apricots and exotic sub-tropical fruits, while citrus and green apple notes are added by the Chardonnay.  Crispy and intense fruit flavors, with fresh acidity and creamy finish.

2007 Triebaumer TRIE Chardonnay-Muscat; Austria  $18.63
A blend of Chardonnay, Yellow Muscat, and Muscat Ottonel. Light yellow with greenish reflections, clearly visible viscosity. A fresh white bunch of flowers in the nose, followed by grapefruit zest and Yellow Muscat grapes. Accompanied by juicy pear pulp and a twinkle of lemon. All fragrances result in a multi -layered aroma spectrum. Dry with a creamy acidity and the dense extract of optimal Chardonnay grapes. A finely balanced blend between hearty power and playful aromas.

2007 Novas Limited Selection Chardonnay (Organic); Casablanca Valley, Chile  $16.65
A crisp and juicy wine with tropical and citrus fruits that offer balance and an elegant finish. Ideal with white meat, shellfish and fresh cheeses.

2007 Chappellet Chardonnay; Napa Valley, California  $33.89
Ripe layers of fig, green apple and pear are full-bodied yet elegant, gaining body and richness and ending with a full-blown finish, shaded by nutmeg. Drink now through 2012.
