RUBISSOW WINES - NAPA - "ROCKSTAR" WINEMAKER RETURNS TO TEXAS
Last year saw the Texas debut of the Rubissow family's ultra-limited, organically grown Napa Cult reds, with an amazing dinner hosted by rising star winemaker Timothy Milos at Abacus in Dallas. Fantastic wows and accolades followed. As word got out on these hot wines, the press took notice... Wine & Spirits Magazine named the Rubissow 2004 Reserve among the "Year's Best Cabernets." and Quarterly Review of Wines gushed "Mountain Magic...Superb Wines." Wow is right.
Keeping the ball rolling...this month Tim returns to Texas to team up with Chef Kent Rathbun and his exceptional staff for a splendid Jasper's feast paired with the new release 2005 vintage wines. Tim will host the evening and regale you with all the Napa insider info you can eat and drink.
And so what makes Milos a "Rockstar" winemaker anyway? Well, how 'bout this - He's the real thing: a just-over40 winemaker who's already amassed a serious resume - ie: OPUS ONE, STAG'S LEAP, CLIFF LEDE and now RUBISSOW. Tim is insanely dedicated to expressing pure terroir and beauty in his wines. Guys like this are called ROCKSTARS in the wine trade!
