Continuing with the "there's more to Italy than Asti" theme, we'll be pouring our favorite Lambrusco: Medici Ermete Solo Lambrusco NV.  Yes, that's right, a Lambrusco, a sparkling red.  But nothing like Riuniti.  This is dry (not sickly sweet) with dark berry fruits, and a light fizzy sparkle.  It's from the Reggiano region of Italy and not surprisingly, goes wonderfully with Parmigano-Reggiano cheese, which we’ll probably have on hand as well.  Come by, give it a try, and let us convince you we’re not crazy.
