| Are you somewhat intimidated to go wine tasting? Or simply cannot define the aroma or taste you are experiencing? Ever wonder why/how a wine has the "aroma of gooseberries" or "cherry flavors"? Or why your bottle of highly touted wine actually smells like a barnyard?!!! We'll be presenting a descriptor tasting program designed to introduce the wine lover - from neophyte to oenophile - to the "what, why and how" of wine aromas and flavors. We'll also discuss essential wine vocabulary, some of the wine process, and the good and bad sensory elements of wine. And, of course, we'll include some wine tasting to test our new knowledge. |
