Wine OR Wine & Food
Get in the mood for the all-American July 4th holiday by tasting a line-up of all-American wines with us. We’ll have Oregon Pinot, California Zinfandel, Washington State Merlot - and from our own Long Island, some great summer whites from the Hamptons and a North Fork Cabernet.
Here’s a sample of what we’ll taste to get you in the mood for your holiday weekend:
Lange Pinot Noir – Willamette Valley, Oregon
Exceptional Willamette Valley vineyards ripe with red cherries. Goes beautifully with all manner of summer foods.
Channing Daughters 'Clones', 'Mosaico' and Pinot Grigio – Long Island
We'll taste some unconventional whites from winemaker Christopher Tracy, including a light, refreshing Pinot Grigio, and 'Mosaico' and 'Clones', 2 blends that you'll want to sip all summer long.
Paumanok Cabernet Sauvignon – North Fork of Long Island
The Massoud family has been making lush, ripe, smooth Cabernet Sauvignon on the North Fork since 1983. This Cab is perfect for grilled steaks.
Helix Merlot - Columbia Valley, Washington
No one wants to admit liking Merlot, but this one will change your mind. Firmly structured, with plenty of lush, black fruit and sweet spices.
This complimentary tasting will be held in the Maslow 6 wineshop.
