Wine OR Wine & Food

An evening of feasting, music, and dance await you during this annual "Bastille Day at the Embassy of France"!!!

Take an imaginary trip to France as you visit different Parisian arrondissements (neighborhoods) throughout the evening. Cocktails and a silent auction will begin the festivities, and you will have a chance to bid on restaurant and hotel vouchers, paintings and other pieces of art, as well as other luxury items.

In our cafés, chefs from some of the area's most prestigious kitchens (Café du Parc/ Willard InterContinental Washington, URBAN Bistrot/Sofitel, Ritz Carlton, La Ferme Restaurant, Bastille Restaurant, Ronald Reagan International Trade Center and Panorama Bakery) will offer mouth-watering creations. A luscious dessert service (Pâtisserie Poupon and Cacao Fine European Chocolate & Pastry) will follow and open bars will serve a variety of refreshing spirits and soft drinks.

Throughout the evening, enjoy cancan music and dancing with singer Simone Marchand (outside under the tent) and accordionist Estelle Sauvain with pianist Angélique Sauvain (inside in the ballroom).
