With the help of the 2008 "Chef of the Fest" winner David McIntyre, attendees will walk away feeling like a risotto pro, ready to conquer and add to its many layers of flavor. You'll find that with proper technique, and a little love, risotto can be turned into an elegant, upscale dish that will wow any foodie. Join Chef David McIntyre of Crescent Heights Kitchen & Lounge for a start to finish journey through the wonderful world of risotto. You'll learn how to take this traditional comfort food, and turn it into a gourmet dish suitable for the world's finest restaurants. After working under Wolfgang Puck and Executive Chef Lee Hefter of Wolfgang Puck's Spago, and as a consultant to Cut, Wolfgang Puck's celebrated steakhouse, David McIntyre quickly learned the art of fine dining. Through his passion for the culinary arts, McIntyre brings California modern cuisine using fresh and local ingredients to the San Diego dining scene at his restaurant, Crescent Heights Kitchen & Lounge.
