Local Wine Events

The Kirkwood Volunteer Fire Department will host their Annual Beer and Wine Tasting Benefit on Saturday, July 4, 2009 from 3:30 to 6:00pm at the Kirkwood Mountain Resort. It will be held at the heart of the Kirkwood Mountain Village at the pedestrian Village Plaza.  (For Directions)

This is an event for the entire family with games for the children (clown, face painting, bounce house, etc.).  Besides the music, there will be a number of wineries and breweries offering wine and beer tastings, along with appetizers and a barbecued dinner with a variety of tasty food.

Your donations support the Kirkwood Volunteer Fire Department. Proceeds from this year’s event will help fund a Thermal Imaging Computer for the fire department which will aid with search/rescue, extrications, breaching walls and doors, viewing hot spots during fires, etc.

What you receive for your donation is:

• Your meal includes: Appetizers, Barbeque chicken, beef, fish, and hotdogs with all the appropriate sides
• Wine Tasting: Casque Wines, Avio Vineyards, Lava Cap Winery, Castoro Cellars, Shenandoah Winery, Sobon Estates and others
• Beer Tasting: Sierra Nevada Brewery, Lagunitas Brewery, Sac Brew, Lost Coast Brewery, Mt. Tallac Brewery and others.
• Games:  Games for the children but, fun for the whole family!

Tickets: Prices are the same in advance and at the door.

• Ages 12-20: $20.00
• Ages Under 12: $10.00
