Wine lovers will have a chance to discover Sonoma’s secret enclave of Eighth Street Wineries on Saturday, August 8, 2009, from 11am to 5pm, as eight artisanal wineries welcome the public to taste their limited-production wares.

This one-day event will feature current releases, new releases and library offerings as well as barrel-tastings and food pairings.  The cost is $20 per person and includes a souvenir wineglass.  Guests who visit all participating wineries will be eligible for a special drawing.

The Eighth Street Wineries are Anaba Wines, Enkidu, MacRostie Winery and Vineyards, Parmelee-Hill Wines and Vineyards, Talisman Wines, Three Sticks, Tin Barn Vineyards and Ty Caton Vineyards.  These boutique wineries, which boast renowned winemakers with impressive resumes, produce seventeen distinct varietals, using a myriad of winemaking techniques, from traditional to innovative.
