2pm-4pm
Learn the Argentinian Tango with Godfrey Revis and
Diane Bradshaw and taste through the fantastic wines from Luigi Bosca with Ryan from Acton Wines!! Argentino Tango The tango began in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the late 19th century. In the early years of the twentieth century tango started its migration to Europe when dancers and orchestras from Buenos Aires travelled to the big European cities. Tango then became a huge hit in the big capitals: London, Rome, Berlin and New York. 1913 became a peak year for tango all over the world as the dance everyone wanted to learn, even changing fashion--making women give up their Victorian corset so they could better master the dance. Take advantage of the professional instruction of Godfrey and his partner as they demonstrate the steps and walk you through them yourselves. Before you know it, you will be flowing with the music......
The Arizus family, owners of Luigi Bosca, take pride in the tradition they started more than 100 years ago at the same time the Tango started making its way through the streets of Argentina. The family worked toward improving their technique, observing and understanding nature, thus commiting to improving vintage after vintage. This is Bodega Luigi Bosca. This is how the Arizu family was created. Their history begins everyday, because their past is always a prologue to their future. Come and taste a few of their refreshing whites from their La Linda label, then move into the reserve selections from their Luigi Bosca line up. After a few sips you won't be able to resist tapping your toes, grabbing your partner and joining the other dancers!
