Wine OR Wine & Food Event

Wine OR Wine & Food

M Chapoutier has been producing Braille labels since 1995 in tribute to Maurice de la Sizeranne, one-time owner of an acclaimed Hermitage single vineyard and inventor of the abbreviated version of Braille.  In concert, blind tastings allow consumers to taste new wines with unbiased opinions and force tasters to utilize all senses to the fullest. We intend for this event to raise awareness of the history of Braille and its place in Chapoutier's labels, while helping out those who are, in fact, blind.

On this evening, Antoine de Boysson, Brand Manager for Chapoutier will present a wonderful selection of Chapoutier wines, whilst conducting some blind-tasting exercises. You'll be amazed at how much we rely on our sense of sight and how heightened our other senses can get without the use of our eyes.  Tasting wine is, after all the ultimate multi-sensory experience. A night of great wine and a great cause. We hope you'll join us!
