This event is a new one for us.  We normally do wine tastings with food pairings.  We thought it would be a great idea to try a venue that would better fit the holiday weekend.  So... we decided that a Beer and Food Pairing would work out nicely.

We're going to start with SKA Brewery's True Blond Ale which will be served with Goat cheese, stone fruit, all on light baguettes.  Next we'll go with Lefthand's Haystack Wheat where we're going a little bold with homemade green chile and soft tortillas.  Then on to Stone Brewing's IPA where we've decided that this needs some meat... we've got mini black and blue hamburgers.  In between this course and the last course we'll have a little palate clenser.  The IPA's a little big.  Finally, we'll finish with Avery's Karma and that will be paired with my Creme Brule Cheesecake and a light Strawberry Compote.

This one should be bigger than ever.  I look forward to seeing all of you.  Happy 4th of July Weekend.
