Chef's Expressions (http://chefsexpressions.com/), one of Maryland's top caterers, is holding one of its monthly wine dinners, and Marylanders for Better Beer & Wine Laws is the guest of honor!  They pick a different non-profit each month to receive a portion of the proceeds of any wine sold at the dinner, and we are the lucky recipients for their upcoming Bastille Day-themed extravaganza on Tuesday, July 14th.  The 7-course tasting menu sounds amazing and will include Roasted New England Diver Scallop with Peach Mango Soup and Black Garlic Marinated Rib Eye with Potato Rosti, Truffle Butter and Spinach Soufflé.  Each course will be paired with a different wine, all of which will be available for sale at the dinner.  Having tasted over 40 wines for this event, I assure you those Jerry picked are really winners.  The dinner costs $99.95 + tax & service and is being held at Gramercy Mansion (http://www.gramercymansion.com/).
