Olympic Cellars kicks-off its 2009 August Summer Concert Series Saturday evenings August  1, 8, 15, 22 & 29th. The outdoor concerts will take place on the winery grounds from 7:00 – 9:30 p.m.  and we invite the public to bring a picnic, taste some great wine and enjoy the music against a backdrop of the majestic Olympic Mountains.”

Fat Chance

FAT CHANCE has been rocking the Olympic Peninsula for the last three decades. They are indeed a much loved institution in this area. While known for their all-night dance and party extravaganzas, recently they have started recording from the catalog of their own original material.  This has produced two great CDs..."LIKE IT WAS BEFORE" (2003), and "CLOSING IN" (2007).

FAT CHANCE is a four-piece (two guitars, bass, and drums, four singers) band-you won't find keyboards in the mix. They play a style of music that could be described as "Nu Classic Rock"...They write songs that tell about where they live and the people that populate that whacky universe. All four of the members take the lead vocal position at various times and each has their own unique expression to bring to the table. The result is very much a group effort...effortlessly blended and served up with a solid helping of insight and humor.
