As the 4th largest exporter in the world, Australia’s wine story is fascinating, dating back to 1788. So, let’s explore Australia’s diversity of Wine Regions and Wine Styles. Are you familiar with the McLaren Vale or the Barossa Valley in South Australia’s Wine Region? Or how about the Yarra Valley in the Victoria Wine Region? Come explore the differences, and better yet, taste the differences. Come sample the great reds and complex white wines of Australia. And to make things even more interesting, we’ll compare an Australian Shiraz with a California Syrah with a French Syrah. Taste why Australian wine exports have grown over 700% in a little over a decade. Format is an informal classroom setting with Pete Hanowich leading the tasting and discussions. Dress is Casual. So come explore and enjoy the Great Wines of Australia. Let’s take a Wine Trip Down Under Wines, Cheese and baguettes included. |
