Hello Everyone,

The next McKenna's wine dinner is almost here. We are hoping to have you come and enjoy some great food and wine from our great executive chef Arthur Gonzalez and B.R. Cohn winery. The event will take place in our lovely balboa room on the 20th of July 2009 at 6:00 in the evening. You can reply via e-mail or give McKenna's a call at 562-342-9411.

The event will be $80.00 a person before tax and tip.

The menu and wine we will be serving that evening will be as follows:

1. *B.R.C. Rose:
   • Big eye tuna & pickled yellow watermelon served with a strawberry-kiwi and cucumber shooter.                     
2. *B.R.C. Chardonnay:
   • Manchego creamed spinach with "drunk" golden raisins and pine nuts.
3. *B.R.C. Pinot Noir:
   • Sonoma duck confit "pizza" with cottin de champcol, bing cherries and plums.
4. *B.R.C. Merlot:
   • Jumbo wild mushroom ravioli with summer truffles and grana padana.
5. *B.R.C Cabernet:
   • Prime Colorado rack of lamb dressed with a blueberry gastrique and served with a stuffed artichoke.
6. *Covey run Reserve Semillon ice wine:
   • Pear tart tatin served with honey, ginger ice cream.

*Please let us know ahead of time if there are any food allergies so we can accommodate you prior of the event, thank you. There will be great deals on the wine for purchase at the end of the dinner if you happen to fall in love with one or two through out the evening.
