We're running an Art & Wine Workshop at Carr Taylor Vineyard in East Sussex. Enjoy a morning vineyard tour, wine tasting, lunch and afternoon with artist Katie Sollohub from Seawhites Studio, West Sussex, You'll be drawing on the sensory inspiration from the vineyard and wine tasting. It's £79 per person and includes your tour, tasting, lunch with a glass of wine, tutor and complimentary bottle of wine. Discounts are available on groups of 6 or more. You will be responding to the whole sensory experience of the day, not just the visual aspect of the landscape. You will then use marks and materials of your choice to inform any images made, guided by a few specific approaches to give you alternative ways of looking at the landscape. Quick exercises will be followed with a little time to develop an image or idea further, using one of the given starting points. Mixed media is encouraged and a digital camera would be useful too for the digital artists among you.
