Explore different restaurants each month while getting to know other singles in the age group of your choice . . . so even if there's no love connection you'll still have a wonderful time. You'll order off the menu and receive separate checks for your purchases. Our website allows you to view the profiles of those registered for each dinner, tracks who you've dined with so you meet new people every time, and then let's you send a private message to those you've dined with afterward.
For current space availability, to see who's going, and to register please visit our website at www.TastyChicago.net.
Please register early. Schedules are announced three to six weeks in advance, seats are filled on a first come first filled basis, and dinners close three to seven days in advance. Occasionally, space opens up last minute, but this cannot be relied upon, so register early for best results.
This week join us at Perennial: "Courtesy of the BOKA team, hipster New American dining comes to Lincoln Park's new Park View Hotel, with rising star Giuseppe Tentori overseeing the upscale bistro menu; the rustic-modern redo of the former Louie on the Park space combines sleek walnut furnishings, a stand of birch trees, splashes of bright color and walls of windows – plus a lounge with a fireplace for winter and a landscaped outdoor dining for summer." - Zagat.com "Yes, Perennial is located directly across the street from Lincoln Park---but that wasn’t the inspiration for its green-sounding name. Owners Rob Katz and Kevin Boehm, who also own Boka and Landmark, found the moniker for their restaurant in one of their favorite wines. But that doesn’t mean there isn’t a strong sense of seasonality going on here---look for produce from twice-a-week Green City Market nearby to make plenty of guest appearances on the menu. There’s lots of star-chef-power going on at this chic American bistro: it’s got executive chef Giuseppe Tentori (of Boka as well and formerly at Charlie Trotter’s) and Ryan Poli (ex-Butter). The “wings & beer” from the starters menu, with its beautiful frenched confit chicken legs, beer-braised onions and blue cheese foam, is a draw. And the flat iron steak from the entrées with a flavorful black pepper bordelaise is memorable, too. With its lovely patio, we predict playing hooky from work to become more prevalent as soon as the restaurant opens for lunch." - Gayot.com |
