Everyone loves to pop a party! Find out how Champagne compares to other sparkling products, what makes Champagne unique, who first captured the bubble in the bottle and how it was done.

Learn the process! Once you know the method, the wine label becomes instantly comprehensible and navigable. Find out why champagne costs what it does. Find out why everything that sparkles is not champagne. Discover how Dom Perignon, Veuve Cliquot, Brother Jean Oudart and Madame Pommery helped to craft the style of wine that has become the universal beverage of celebration, wealth, royalty, and privilege.

This foundation class is part of the official French Wine Academy curriculum. It was created by the French Wine Society and is endorsed by "Wines of France" and the National French Wine Office.
The class will be taught by a Certified Wine Educator and will include a tasting of up to 6 wines. Students completing all 8 classes will receive a certificate of completion.
