Heritage Vineyards' Wine Dinner at Pelican Restaurant

The Pelican Restaurant (formerly known as the Pelican Fish Company) and Heritage Vineyards come together for an evening of exquisite food and award-winning wine, individually selected from our wine list to complement the cuisine. Expect pan seared day boat scallops, tender filet gorgonzola and much more. Enjoy a delicate New Jersey peach crisp for desert.
Below is the unique, five-course menu selected for the night:
1) Atlantic Deep-Sea Scallop Ceviche, with vegetable brenoise, cilantro, and chiptole. Served with Heritage Vineyard’s 2006 Oak-Aged Chardonnay.
2) Paccheri Amatriciana (an old world recipe made from pancetta, tomatoes, onions, olive oil, basil and a light wine sauce, spiced with pepper). Served with our first Cab. Sav based blend, Steel Rails Red.
3) Pan seared Chilean Sea Bass with leeks, baby spinach and russett potato. Served with our 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon.
4) Charcoal-grilled angus beef tenderloin with oven roasted tomato, grilled radicchio and smoked mozzarella. Served with our award-winning 2006 Merlot.
5) Succulent peach crisp, made with Heritage Vineyard’s own peaches (fresh, tree ripened and hand picked), served with our chilled Sugar Plum dessert wine.
