"Drink a Beer, Save a Tree" at the annual celebration of bottom-fermented craft lagers in Manitou Springs, supporting open space and parks. Come taste beers from Hawaii to Boston, listen and dance to live local music, and meet the brewers creating artisanal beers you won’t find anywhere else. The event will be August 8-9th, 2009 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and located in Memorial Park, Manitou Springs (502 Manitou Avenue). Your $35 entry includes:

- Unlimited sampling of hand crafted lagers (within reason!) and a commemorative tasting glass.

- Music by local legends Big Paddy & Grass It Up on Saturday, The Jack Trades & Creating a Newsense on Sunday.

- An award presentation for exceptional lagers on 2:30 PM Sunday.
