Cygnus Wine Cellars, located at 3130 Long Lane in historic Manchester Maryland, is celebrating the 13th anniversary of its founding with the help of the finest Chefs in Maryland. Accompanied by wines in current release, as well as from the Cellar Library, these 5 course dinners will be limited to 20 people, and will require prepaid reservations to be made no later than 1 July 2009. Cost is $75.00 per person. Reservations may be made for any one, or all dates.

‘I am really excited and pleased that these great Chefs from four of Maryland’s most famous restaurants have agreed to be part of this celebration,’ states Ray Brasfield, owner and winemaker of Cygnus Wine Cellars. Participating Chefs include; Michael Gettier, Executive Chef at the Antrim 1844 Inn in Taneytown, Antonio Baines, Executive Chef of Tapas Teatro in Baltimore, Bill Schroeder, Chef and owner of Giulianova’s in Westminster, and Jerry Pelligrino, Executive Chef/co-owner of Corks in Baltimore.
Schedule for each of the dinners is as follows:
Sunday 5 July 3pm Jerry Pelligrino, New American
Sunday 12 July 3pm Bill Schroeder, Italian
Sunday 19 July 3pm Michael Gettier, French
Sunday 26 July 3pm Antonio Baines, Spanish
All dinners will begin promptly at 3pm with Appetizers of the Day, accompanied by Classic Method Sparkling Wines. Next will be a light second course at seating, followed by the Entree. A delicious cheese course consisting of American Artisanal cheeses will follow. Dinner will conclude with dessert. |
