EVENT DETAILS:
| This 27th annual food and wine tasting event, the oldest charity tasting event in the area, offers tasting of wines, foods and micro-brews from close to 100 wineries, restaurants, caterers, and micro-brewers all for the cost of admission. Plenty of non-alcoholic beverages are available as well. Located in the Waterfront Warehouse courtyard, outdoors next to Stockton's new Downtown Marina, the event, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters, will feature California wines. Guests will receive a complimentary wine glass and butler tray for use as they travel from table to table, tasting samples and enjoying the cool Delta breezes and sounds of smooth jazz. Guests can talk with winemakers and learn about the unique qualities of the wines they are tasting. Wine On The Waterfront is known as the benchmark event of its kind in the region and offers a wide variety of foods, including french pate', barbecued mussels, fritattas, pastas, and much more. New this year will be an amateur wine making and beer brewing competion. Art from local artists will be on display. A silent auction rounds out the evening. No one under 21 is admitted. Attire is evening casual. Boaters may tie up to guest docks and enter from the marina with advance ticket purchase.
