Sauvignon Blancs (aka Fumés Blancs) are the fastest growing white wines on the market. Depending upon where you grow them they can show flavors ranging from the fresh-cut grassy qualities of Loire interpretations to the dry--but almost sweet-tasting--versions from the New World. We'll show both archetypes from France (Bordeaux and the Loire) as well as examples from the US, New Zealand, South Africa and other Sauvignon haunts. $55.00 per person.

This session will take place on Tuesday, August 4th at Schaefer's (9965 Gross Point Rd -intersection of Gross Point and Old Orchard). It will begin at 6:00 and last approximately 90 minutes. There is lot parking.
