I grow fonder and fonder of the Trento D.O.C. and its wines. The more I taste, the more I tend to believe that there really is something special going on here. It is a region wholly dedicated to sparkling wine, incorporating all the best techniques, knowledge, and practices. Giulio Ferrari was the man who brought the notion of sparkling wine to this area more than a century ago (actually a part of Austria at that time!). A region to watch for certain. We taste three of their distinct cuvées.
