On Saturday evening, July 18, WVIZ/PBS Globe in a Glass returns to present a virtual tour of the world of wine, complemented by an abundance of food prepared and presented by McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant. The 2009 vintage of this fundraiser for ideastream® will tantalize the taste buds by featuring: a “Wine Walk” that will introduce patrons to nearly 200 wines from some of the world’s best producers; “Cleveland’s Best Raw Bar,” a McCormick & Schmick’s signature offering that brings the bounty of the briny deep to the North Coast; “Twenty-Five Feet of Dessert Decadence,” a dessert display that will conquer any sweet tooth; a selection of hors d’oeuvres and cheeses designed to complement the wine; a silent auction.
