Wine OR Wine & Food
Red wines often get passed by in the dog days of summer, but there’s a world of reds out there that just call out for warm weather foods. We’ll taste some time-honored summer reds like Pinot Noir and Beaujolais, and then venture into uncharted territory with Grignolino, Schiava, Zweigelt, and others! Whether familiar hot weather quaffs or newly discovered favorites, they’re all perfectly complimented by the foods of summer.
When the weather warms up we often turn to grilling outdoors so as not to heat up the house, or find ways to compose an entire meal without turning on the oven at all. We’ll liven up your summer menus by creating Mini Tomato and Goat Cheese Tarts, Cheese Straws, Grilled Hanger Steak with Chimichurri Sauce, Classic Ratatoille with Fresh Herbs, and a Plum Tart with Raspberries.
