This program is directed to wine professionals such as educators, critics, writers, journalists, distributors, importers, sommeliers, wine buyers and enthusiasts who are interested in getting to know Spanish wines in depth, for buying and importing them, for educational programs or simply for enjoying our wines. It is open to highly enthusiastic wine aficionados, with minimum previous tasting training.
This program is a certified, comprehensive and all inclusive 3 day Spanish wine course, with an intensive tasting component. It covers the most important Spanish Appellations, climates, soils, history, wine styles, grape varieties, etc. This program provides to the participants 2 certifications: “Spanish Wine Educators” and “Certificate on Andalusia and its Wines”. It will end with an exam that comprises a theory part and blind tasting of 6 wines.
The top 15 high-scorers will be treated to a week Spanish Wine Tour covering Spain's top DO's, invited by The Wine Academy.
