From the ‘Garden of France’ comes a wide range of styles from crisp whites to sweet dessert wines to reds the Loire Valley has them all. As Spring is upon us taste a superb selection of crisp fresh whites in the form of top wines from Sancerre and Pouilly Fume before moving onto the Cabernet Franc wines of Saumur Champigny, arguably some of the finest examples of this grape varietal. We will also explore the renowned sweet whites of the region made from Chenin blanc, beautifully balanced and delicate in style.
