The KRUSH Presents: Susan Tedeschi and JJ Grey & Mofro; The music world hasn’t taken its eyes off Susan Tedeschi since she burst on the scene in 1998 with “Just Won’t Burn,” achieving Gold status and winning Tedeschi a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist. Tedeschi's newest release “Back To The River” features husband and slide guitarist Derek Trucks, who she often tours with when not raising her family in Gainesville. Much of JJ Grey & Mofro’s music emotes a raw, yet contemporary, swamp rock ambiance, yet still possesses elements of southern rock, soul, R&B, folk, gospel, blues, and especially funk.
