With over 3,000 wines in our cellar, we have a wide selection of little-known and extraordinary bottles. In this class, Andy Fisher (Astor’s president and owner) shines a spotlight on some of our proudest Italian finds. We'll explore how grapes, growers, terroir, and winemaking techniques combine to make the final product taste so good. And just when you think these wines can't taste any better, each will be paired with a specific food that both complements the wine and helps bring out more of its subtleties. By the end of the class, you’ll understand why Italy is known for its great wines, skillful winemaking, and perfect food pairings. You’ll also have a pretty good idea of how to impress your friends the next time Italian is on the menu!
