| The French Cellar announces the 20th and final class in a series of twenty Wine Appreciation Classes for the year 2009. "Holiday Champagnes!" will present and contrast a variety of blended sparklers from the smaller family "garage" productions to the larger more familiar Houses that produce large but consistent bottlings - and with special thought to Holiday party and dinner food pairings, recommendations for stand-alone sipping, and appropriate gift choices for particular friends, family and business associates. 8 unique Brut selections will be poured, from the more subtle to the most complex. Class will be held Wednesday November 5th at 7:00 PM, at 32 East Main Street (at College Avenue) in Los Gatos. Cost is $90 per person, including a light buffet of French cheeses, pates and fruit.
