The wine world may seem daunting when you're handed a 20 page wine list or standing in a store with more than hundreds of wines to choose from. Actually, you can gain fluency in at least a couple of foreign languages in the time that it takes to learn all of the world's wine regions and grape varieties. In short, you can take a 4-week, 8-week, 20-week or a 2-year wine course and still not be comfortable with choosing a wine for an important dinner or expressing what you like about a wine. The key to learning about wine is in covering first things first and then practicing.

This course is an intensive 2-Day Version of TW's 4-Week Wine Course, and follows the same hands-on format. We give you the most relevant information and then have you practice in simulated circumstances such as ordering from a wine list or deciphering wine labels. That way we aim to make you comfortable with wine from the beginning and have you continue your education in wine with enjoyment.
