This event is an elegant evening of wine tasting and education paired with gourmet food, whose proceeds benefit HFNC’s crucial programs and services, such as an amazing summer camp for children with life-threatening bleeding disorders. At camp, kids find out they’re not alone in their diagnosis, meet role models who are successfully living with hemophilia and learn from an on-site medical team of UCSF & Children’s Hospital experts how to manage their health and live life to the fullest. The Hemophilia Foundation of Northern California is a volunteer, non-profit organization serving the needs of people with hemophilia and related bleeding disorders, dedicated to advancing the treatment of bleeding disorders and their complications, including HIV infection. In addition to summer camp, family camp and emergency assistance programs, HFNC also supports research, encourages and provides education, outreach and advocacy.
