An “Amplified” wine tasting. Making wine more accessible, less pretentious, and more fun by pairing it with live music in interesting venues. On Friday, June 26th, Rock ‘n Roll Wine will be mixing it up at one of Detroit’s most eclectic and interesting nightspots as Traffic Jam & Snug hosts our first RnR Wine event in the city.

Straight from the Motor City’s Urban Funk scene, singer/songwriter Nadir, from the band Distorted Soul, will be entertaining with some of his bandmates. The Detroit Music Awards recently named Nadir “Outstanding Urban/Funk Songwriter.” Detroit’s Metro Times said that Nadir “play(s) with an aplomb that could raise the corpses of Marley and Hendrix.” Nadir is one of the area’s hottest artists and we are delighted to have him play our gig.

As usual, we will be showing a brand-new mix of the underappreciated, unusual, and just plain good wines from all over the globe. A $25 advance ticket covers all of the music and wine. The cost goes up to $30 the day of the show.
