Chile's wine industry is fresh, young, and evolving to meet the needs of today's demanding world markets. Pioneering growers are planting vineyards at higher altitudes and pushing the extremes of long-recognized wine regions. Argentina's wines are exploding on the marketplace due to quality growing conditions on the slopes of the AndesMountains along with their local know-how and state-of-the-art technologies. A variety of top quality wines from each country will be tasted including the indigenous red grape of Chile which is found almost nowhere else in the world, and the Argentinean red grape that is currently topping the popularity charts.
