The Grapevine Charity Golf Tournament is not only to raise funds for the Paula J. Baber Hospice House but to also introduce North Central Iowa to some of the best wines Iowa has to offer. Five wineries will be sampling and selling wines produced at Iowa wineries. Team checkin will begin at 7:30 a.m. with a shotgun start for the tournament beginning at 9:00 a.m.

At tees 1, 3, 5, 7, 9 the wineries will be pouring samples of wine for the golfers to taste. At tees 2, 4, 6, 8 local food retailers and Iowa Central Community College culinary students will be offering some of the best food Fort Dodge has to offer. In addition to golf, wine and food The Erick Hovey Band will be providing music entertainment, from noon till 3:00 p.m., in the club house parking lot.

This will be a four person best ball tournament with plenty of prizes to be give away. Prizes for \'closest to the pin\', \'longest drive\', \'lowest team score\' and others will be award at the end of the tournament.

Come out and enjoy a day of golf, wine, food, music and help raise money for the Paula J. Baber Hospice House.
