Wine OR Wine & Food

The Virginia Wine Academy at the historic Inn at Meander Plantation is a fun-filled, fact-filled opportunity to learn about and celebrate wine--especially the amazing wines of Virginia. Be in-the-know about this fast-growing sustainable, eco-agricultural industry that is defining Virginia as one of the Top 10 New Wine Destinations of the World.

This innovative, experimental learning vacation will appeal to novices who want to know more about wine, as well as connoisseurs looking for a fun wine-centered experience.

Virginia Wine industry experts will share their knowledge from grapes to glass, with emphasis on tasting, food pairings, winery tours and even hands-on work in a vineyard.

The Inn at Meander Plantation, named 2007 Restaurant of the Year, is a pioneer in promoting and serving Virginia wines. In fact, only Virginia wines are served at The Inn and Restaurant.
