The Advanced Certificate provides an in-depth knowledge of the wide range of wines and spirits around the world and builds upon concepts introduced in the Intermediate Certificate.

It is suitable for people employed in the drinks and hospitality industries in a supervisory capacity who require core information to advise management and customers and to make informed decisions in a wide variety of trade situations.

The course is also excellent for wine enthusiasts who would like to learn more about wines and spirits through a structured course and by doing so will gain an internationally recognised qualification.

The Advanced course provides students with:

· Comprehensive coverage of still, sparkling and fortified wines of the world

· Comprehensive coverage of spirits of the world

· An increased focus on the WSET® tasting technique
