Every Saturday and Sunday, from November 29 through December 28. This seasonal food and wine pairing event will feature delicious holiday food complements at Duckhorn Vineyards, Goldeneye and Paraduxx wineries. Created by executive chef Richard Haake, original holiday dishes will be offered as complimentary additions for all tasting room experiences at Paraduxx and Goldeneye wineries, and with the Estate Tour & Tasting at Duckhorn Vineyards. This flavorful and festive event will take the mystery out of holiday food and wine pairing, by giving consumers the opportunity to taste seasonal dishes alongside an array of acclaimed wines. Duckhorn Vineyards will be serving Standing Rib Roast with Au Jus and Gruyere-Chive Popovers paired with its 2005 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Paraduxx will be offering Coca Cola Glazed Ham with Pepper Biscuits and Blackberry Jam paired with the 2006 Paraduxx. And Goldeneye will be serving Crostini of Pork Rillette with Cranberry-Orange Relish alongside the 2005 Goldeneye Pinot Noir. Recipes for a complete six-course, wine-paired holiday meal will be available online, and a special wine shipping discount will be available as part of the company’s online “Holiday Cheer” program.
