Sue and Steve Mathis, partners in Phantom Rivers Winery, will be in the shop October 17 to pour and talk about their wines. Phantom Rivers is located in Santa Maria and sources grapes from throughout the Central Coast. We’ll be pouring the following wines: 2007 Chardonnay Edna Valley, SLO; 2007 Sauvignon Blanc Santa Barbara Highlands Vineyard, SBC; 2006 Syrah Larner Vineyard, SYV; 2006 Mourvedre Larner Vineyard, SYV and their 2006 Paso del Sol, a blend of Syrah and Mourvedre from Larner Vineyard and Cabernet from Still Waters (Paso Robles).

While Sue & Steve are only with us on Friday evening, the flight will continue to be available on Saturday until 8:30PM and Sunday from Noon to 5:30PM.

As always, cheese plates, designed to complement the wines, will be available for purchase during the tasting. We have 200 California produced wines and about 50+ U.S. and European cheeses available for purchase at all times.

Exit the 210 Frwy at Myrtle Ave. and drive north about 14 blocks through the village. Turn left onto Foothill and we are at mid-block on the right side. Street parking is available, as well as lots behind Blockbuster and Wraps 360. (If the Street Fair is in progress, at or just after Huntington Dr., go one block east to Ivy and follow north to Foothill then left.)
