October

28th – Wine & Cheese – The classic pairing of wine and cheese is time-honored. This class will give detail and guidance to the novice and experienced gourmande for choosing and pairing wine with cheese. A tasting of four wines and four cheeses will compliment this experience.

November

3rd (on Monday due to Election Day on the 4th!) – Wine & Cooking – The art of cooking with wine is a balancing act. This insightful workshop will give guidance and example of making simple sauces, marinades, and creating delicious dishes all with the wines of CrossKeys. No actual cooking is involved in this experience but a tasting of elements and completed dishes will be included.

11th – Wine & Chocolate – The artisans of Chocolaterie Wanders from Manassas, Virginia will lead the participants of this indulgent session on an exploration of the sources and characteristics of great chocolate. A wine and chocolate pairing will be included and to complete the event a decadent chocolate desert paired with a glass of CrossKeys wine.

18th – Wine & Entertaining – Get ready to create a party! This final session in the series will focus on the art of entertaining. From proper storage and service of wine to the creation of wine-based beverages, this experience will nurture the host and hostess and provide recipes to impress all of your friends.
