7TH ANNUAL HARVEST FEST CELEBRATION

A DAY AT THE VINEYARD!

SUNDAY OCTOBER 5, 2008

Harvest is a vintner's celebration of the culmination of a year's hard work. It marks the transition period in the wine making cycle from vineyard to cellar. In physical terms, it is the process of picking ripe grapes from the vine.

Long Island Wine Country.com cordially invites you to take part in this once-a-year activity by joining our seventh annual Harvest Fest 2008"Day in the Vineyard".

This full day event will take place at Laurel Lake Vineyards, in the quaint hamlet of Laurel, on the North Fork of Long Island. Laurel Lake Vineyards is a modern vineyard & winery focusing on producing premium quality estate wines. The winery building features a massive elevated wrap around deck that offers a picture perfect view of the vineyard below.

Harvest Fest 2008 is a full day, fun-filled educational event. Attendees will gain a new appreciation for how wine gets into the bottle. Clip the vines, pick the grapes, and have the opportunity to custom blend your own bottle of wine*!

The event is hosted by Christopher Davies, Publisher & Co-Founder of Wine Country International® magazine, and president of Long Island Wine Country. COM. Davies’s is an internationally recognized wine authority who preaches “attitude-free” wine!

Harvest Fest 2008 days will include:

• Welcome toast with sparkling wine>br>

• Wine making overview and presentation

• Picking grapes in the vineyard

• Live demonstration of the crush & wine making process

• VIP Tour of the wine cellar

• VIP Barrel Tasting of pre-release vintages

• Delicious Vineyard Lunch

• Live Music performed "The Merc's"

• "Barrel Rolling Contest" with valuable prizes

• Tasting of artisan cheese & Ice wine

• Optional-Blend your own bottle of wine of "Meritage" style red wine with the winemaker. Cost: $37

Special Purchasing Opportunities Long Island Wine Country.com offers packages with or without transportation. Both packages include the grape picking, tours. wine tasting & lunch.

Attendees drive directly to the winery. You must arrive by 10:45AM.

Individual Reservations Payment & Cancellation Policy:

Payment is required with all reservations.

All tours are Rain or Shine. No cash refunds will be made for cancellations, only credit is given for future tour purchase. Cancellations made less than 10 days prior to event, require a $30 per person re-booking fee.

No Smoking Policy:

No smoking is permitted on the motor coach or at the winery tasting rooms. We will make every effort to allow time for outdoor smoking breaks.
