Location: University of Denver School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management.
Over 450 imported and domestic wines will be showcased by over 100 wineries from numerous areas around the globe.

The premier International Wine & Food Festival in the Rocky Mountain region keeps getting better! Our 2008 venue is the University of Denver's newly constructed, School of Hotel, Restaurant and Tourism Management (HRTM), part of the Daniels College of Business. The school offers the ideal venue for enhancing ones knowledge of wine & food. In addition to tasting wines from around the globe, attendees may participate in one of our many optional seminars and guided tastings.

In 2007, our "Grand Tasting" showcased more than 450 wines from 19 countries and featured 15 of Colorado's top chefs in our "Taste of Elegance"

competition. We plan to make the 2008 DIWF even more exciting!

For the second year in a row, the DIWF is the first "Green" wine festival in

the USA! All empty bottles are quickly from the festival and are diverted

from a Colorado landfill by the Green Glass Company of Wisconsin.

The empty bottles will be transformed into beautiful glassware.

Wine Country International magazine's editors have personally selected premium wines based on quality, region and varietal. The "Grand Tasting" will include foods created by gourmet producers and Colorado restaurants.

The festival will also include selected spirits, exhibits by luxury travel destinations, fine art and wine paraphernalia. This one-day event will also feature the Award-Winning Wines from the Denver International Wine Competition and a silent auction. A variety of optional Educational Seminars will also be offered throughout the day.

Visit Anheuser-Bush's Belgium Beer Garden, featuring delicious tastings of Stella Artois, Hoegaarden and Leffe beers, paired with culinary delights created by Chef Danielle Joly of Mirabelle Restaurant, Beaver Creek.
